Review of the city model Acoutopia – City & Sound, by Edith Fritschi

Acoutopia, the exhibition that has opened yesterday in the Museum, connects sound and space in an ingenious way. [...] Between art, architecture and music, a fascinating territory of acoustic variety opens up to the visitor.

One enters this town with its paths, squares, and a landmark with a feeling of wonder, gets immersed in a different world and learns to listen all over again.

Every step an acoustic scenery.

In fact, those two have not only created a sound space that keeps changing and enables visitors to take in ever new impressions; they also provide a cityscape guide in which they explore the subject area of sound, space and city intellectually and philosophically.
